PCME is an accredited provider specializing in innovative continuing medical education solutions.
Studies have routinely demonstrated improved patient outcomes when patients are treated following established evidence-based clinical practice guidelines. There is a disparity, however, on the uniform understanding and implementation of these recommendations by clinicians. This symposium will utilize case-based treatment scenarios, as supported by established recommendations, to build a greater understanding of how heart failure guidelines should guide clinical practice.
This program will use case-based clinical scenarios to facilitate the translation of evidence-based heart failure guidelines into clinical practice. The program will also evaluate current unmet needs in heart failure care, the role of new drug entities, and their potential impact on future guideline development.
